Melee weapons are the recommended choice for fire enchantments, especially dual-wielded swords or daggers, as they can deliver multiple strikes quickly and thus not give the burning target a chance to extinguish. The higher the Enchanting skill, the more damage dealt.įire-enchanted weapons are especially effective against Trolls and undead creatures, as they both have a weakness to fire. Any enemy struck while already on fire will take extra damage. This enchantment makes the enchanted weapon glow red and set any enemy it strikes on fire, and continue to burn for a few seconds.
